У Вільнюсі із сутичками демонтували меморіал суперечливому діячу, встановлений без погодження
У неділю у Вільнюсі в супроводі поліції здійснили демонтаж пам’ятної дошки суперечливому організатору повстання проти радянської влади у 1941 році, яку перед тим встановили без погодження мерії.

У п’ятницю на будівлі Апеляційного суду Литви без погодження мерії відкрили меморіальну дошку полковнику Казису Шкірпі, організатору червневого повстання проти окупаційної радянської влади у 1941 році, що почалося одночасно з нападом Німеччини на СРСР. Його вважають неоднозначною історичною постаттю через співпрацю з нацистською Німеччиною і ставлення до євреїв.
Встановлення дошки організувала політсила "Національне об’єднання". Її відкриття викликало обурену реакцію Єврейської громади Литви, де заявили, що такі неузгоджені ініціативи провокують розкол у суспільстві.

У неділю дошку прийшли демонтувати працівники приватної фірми у супроводі поліції. На місці група активістів намагалася захистити дошку, дійшло до сутичок з працівниками, яким доручили демонтаж. За підсумками подій кількох людей затримали за непокору законним вимогам поліції.
На підмогу активістам прийшов лідер "Національного об’єднання" Вітаутас Раджвілас. Він назвав дії представників влади не зовсім законними та наполягав, що меморіальну дошку повісили без погодження лише тому, що мерія "третій рік зволікає з рішенням".
Нагадаємо, у столиці Болгарії з численними перешкодами все ж продовжили демонтаж монумента радянській армії.
