Мелоні та Шольц обговорили підтримку України перед самітом ЄС
Голова італійського уряду Джорджа Мелоні та канцлер Німеччини Олаф Шольц провели телефонну розмову, під час якої обговорили військову та фінансову підтримку України перед самітом Євросоюзу 1 лютого.
Про це повідомляє ANSA.
"Глави двох урядів обговорили основні міжнародні та європейські питання напередодні позачергової Європейської ради 1 лютого, зосередивши увагу, зокрема, на військовій та фінансовій підтримці України", - заявили у пресслужбі італійського уряду.
Мелоні також представила Шольцу пріоритети головування Італії в G7 у 2024 році.
Як повідомлялося, 1 лютого відбудться спеціальний саміт ЄС із затвердження поправок до багаторічного бюджету на 2024-2027 роки, які включають створення Українського фонду на 50 млрд євро. На заході йтиметься про питання середньострокового перегляду бюджету ЄС.
Що відомо про фінансову допомогу від ЄС для України
- Єврокомісія запропонувала у червні 2023 року збільшити бюджет ЄС на наступні чотири роки на 66 млрд євро, з яких 50 млрд передбачені для фінансової підтримки України.
- Цю ініціативу підтримав Європарламент. Згідно з нею, ЄС має створити Український фонд – новий інструмент обсягом у 50 млрд євро, передбачених на 2024-2027 роки. Кошти повинні піти на відновлення України від наслідків російського вторгнення.
- Проти цієї ідеї виступила Угорщина. Будапешт запропонував членам ЄС розділити пакет допомоги Україні і спершу надати тільки половину. На саміті ЄС цього місяця Віктор Орбан заблокував виділення допомоги. Українське МЗС заявило же, що на саміті досягнули "принципового рішення" про надання Україні 50 млрд євро в рамках фонду Ukraine Facility на 2024-2027 роки. Відповідне фінансування, пояснили у відомстві, нададуть після проходження всіх необхідних юридичних процедур.
