Німецькі машиністи розпочали 3-денний страйк, значно скоротивши залізничний рух
Німецька профспілка машиністів GDL розпочала основний страйк рано вранці в середу, після того, як у вівторок ввечері на вулицю вийшли машиністи вантажних поїздів.

Страйки триватимуть до вечора п'ятниці, що змусить національного залізничного оператора Deutsche Bahn працювати за скороченим графіком.
Компанія заявила, що страйк вплине на плани подорожей мільйонів людей, та закликала людей скасувати або відкласти всі другорядні поїздки.
GDL вимагає скорочення робочого часу з 38 до 35 годин на тиждень для позмінних працівників, а також підвищення зарплати на 555 євро на місяць та одноразової компенсації інфляції у розмірі 3 тисяч євро.
Deutsche Bahn запропонувала гнучкий графік роботи, але відмовилася скоротити його без зниження заробітної плати.
Загальнонаціональні залізничні страйки відбуваються на тлі економічних проблем, з якими зіткнулася Німеччина цього року, через слабкі макроекономічни показники, високі відсоткові ставки та зростаючоу критику коаліційного уряду.
Цього тижня протести фермерів, викликані гнівом через заплановане скорочення субсидій, посилили тиск на канцлера Олафа Шольца, чий уряд намагається ухвалити бюджет на 2024 рік.
Голова німецької асоціації фермерів DBV пообіцяв посилити протести в середу після того, як колони тракторів та вантажівок заблокували автошляхи по всій країні на початку цього тижня.
Раніше повідомляли, що німецька профспілка машиністів GDL через суд добилася права на проведення нового страйку.
Під час попередніх страйків GDL у 2023 році доводилося скасовувати близько 80% потягів далекого сполучення, а в окремих федеральних землях рух фактично припинився.
