Міністр економіки Німеччини не вважає нові мита ЄС на китайські електромобілі покаранням
Міністр економіки Німеччини Роберт Хабек заявив, що запропоновані Європейським Союзом тарифи на китайські електромобілі не є "покаранням".
Про це він заявив китайським чиновникам у Пекіні, передає Reuters.
У п'ятницю, напередодні приїзду Хабека, Китай попередив, що ескалація суперечностей з ЄС щодо електромобілів може спровокувати торговельну війну.

Як повідомляють, поїздка міністра економіки Німеччини до Китаю є першим візитом високопоставленого європейського чиновника після того, як Брюссель запропонував високі мита на імпорт електромобілів китайського виробництва для боротьби з тим, що ЄС вважає надмірними субсидіями.
"Важливо розуміти, що це не каральні тарифи. Такі країни, як США, Бразилія та Туреччина, використовували каральні тарифи, але не ЄС, сказав міністр економіки. Європа робить речі по-іншому", - сказав Хабек на першому пленарному засіданні діалогу з питань клімату та трансформації.
Він також зазначив, що протягом дев'яти місяців Європейська комісія дуже детально вивчала питання про те, чи отримували китайські компанії несправедливу вигоду від державних субсидій.

За його словами, заходи ЄС мають на меті компенсувати переваги, надані китайським компаніям Пекіном. Тобто запропоновані мита на електромобілі мають на меті вирівняти умови гри з Китаєм.
Хабек також поговорив з міністром торгівлі Китаю Ван Вентао, який повідомив, що обговорить тарифи з комісаром ЄС Валдісом Домбровскісом у суботу ввечері за допомогою відеоконференції.

З наступного місяця Європейський Союз запровадить додаткові мита на електромобілі з Китаю на рівні 38,1%, що призведе до ескалації глобальної торговельної війни та збільшення вартості продажу автомобілів в Європі для компаній від китайської BYD Co. до Tesla Inc.
