Україна розпочала переговори з Бельгією про безпекову угоду
Україна та Бельгія розпочали переговори щодо укладення угоди про співпрацю у сфері безпеки.
Про це йдеться у повідомленні Офісу президента, інформує "Європейська правда".
Сьогоднішній раунд перемовин провів заступник глави ОПУ Ігор Жовква. Бельгійську делегацію очолив керівник кабінету прем’єр-міністра з питань безпеки та зовнішніх відносин Петер Моорс.
"Ми цінуємо лідерство Бельгії в багатьох питаннях підтримки України як на двосторонньому рівні, так і в межах співпраці України з ЄС і НАТО на шляху до нашого членства", – зазначив Жовква.

Сторони обговорили текст проєкту угоди, торкнулися окремих положень та домовилися про наступний раунд переговорів.
"Досягнутий прогрес за результатами першого раунду створює реальні можливості для підписання документа вже найближчим часом", – йдеться у повідомленні.
Напередодні Україна та Ірландія домовилися розпочати підготовку двосторонньої безпекової угоди у продовження декларації країн G7 про "гарантії безпеки" на полях саміту НАТО у Вільнюсі.
Наразі Україна підписала двосторонні безпекові угоди з дев'ятьма країнами, останньою з них стала Латвія. Також очікується підписання угоди з Норвегією.
Переважна більшість українців вважає, що укладання двосторонніх угод у сфері безпеки допомагає Україні протистояти повномасштабній російській агресії.
