Ролик Єврокомісії до Дня пам’яті жертв Голокосту виправили після обурення Польщі
У профілі президентки Єврокомісії Урсули фон дер Ляєн опублікували виправлене відео до Міжнародного дня пам’яті жертв Голокосту після обурення Польщею попередньою версією ролику, де не вказували, що концтабір Аушвіц знаходився в окупованій нацистами країні.

У новому відеоролику, який з'явився в профілі фон дер Ляєн, немає згадки про Польщу, а натомість є титр: "Аушвіц, німецький нацистський табір смерті".
У суботу, в річницю визволення табору Аушвіц-Біркенау і День пам'яті жертв Голокосту, в акаунті Урсули фон дер Ляєн з'явилося пам'ятне відео. У ньому різні люди, в тому числі і сама глава Єврокомісії, згадують євреїв, які загинули в таборах під час Другої світової війни.
"Сьогодні кількість антисемітських актів тривожно зростає. Наш обов'язок – захистити і забезпечити гідне життя євреїв Європи" – написала фон дер Ляєн. Цей підпис зберігся і в новій версії.
Люди, які з'являються у фільмі, пишуть імена жертв від руки, а потім, піднімаючи картки, вимовляють їх вголос. Зображення супроводжують субтитри з особистостями вбитих, датами їхнього народження і смерті та місцями, де це сталося. Однак географічні деталі, які використовуються, викликали суперечки.
Автори ролика не вказали на те, що багато країн були окуповані під час Другої світової війни. Так, вони, серед іншого, припустили, що табір Аушвіц був польським, вказавши в якості місця його розташування "Польщу". Вони не додали, що це місце перебувало під контролем нацистської Німеччини.
Невдоволення висловили міністр закордонних справ Радослав Сікорський, музей "Аушвіц-Біркенау", голова Бюро національної безпеки Польщі Яцек Севера, а також Аркадіуш Мулярчик ("Право і справедливість"), який відповідав за підготовку звіту про воєнні втрати Польщі за часів правління його партії.
Нагадаємо, в часи правління партії "Право і справедливість" у Польщі криміналізували термін "польські табори смерті".
