Знаменитий солом'яний козел у Швеції дожив до Різдва попри традицію спалювання
Шведський солом'яний цап у місті Євле, відомий у всьому світі тим, що його регулярно намагалися підпалити, цьогоріч дожив до Різдва.
Як пише "Європейська правда", про це повідомляє його акаунт у Twitter (X).
На свіжій світлині, що зроблена 25 січня, можна побачити вцілілого 13-метрового гігантського солом'яного цапа.
"Можливо, я виглядаю трохи грубувато, але я це зробив! Щасливого Різдва!", – сказав він.
З моменту свого створення у 1966 році солом'яна фігура горіла 30 разів. Востаннє він згорів у 2021 році.
Підпал стався в ніч проти 17 грудня. Незабаром після цього поліція заарештувала чоловіка, який мав на руках сажу. Камера відеоспостереження також зафіксувала, як він підповз до цапа та підпалив її.
Окружний суд міста визнав чоловіка винним у "завданні великої шкоди" і засудив його до шести місяців ув'язнення, зобов'язавши виплатити 109 082 крони ($12 000) як компенсацію муніципалітету.
Чоловік, якого у шведських ЗМІ називають bockbrännare, або "спалювач кіз", спочатку прийняв звинувачення та компенсацію, але передумав у перший день судових слухань.
Він пояснив, що в ніч інциденту пив дезінфікуючий засіб для рук і то непритомнів, то приходив до тями. Коли чоловіка допитали, він сказав, що, на його думку, у людини, знятої на кадрах з камер відеоспостереження, була довша борода, але він міг позичити свій одяг.
Зрештою, чоловік заявив, що не визнає і не заперечує скоєння злочину.
