Москва представила нову міжконтинентальну балістичну ракету
Російські ракетні війська завантажили нову міжконтинентальну балістичну ракету “Ярс” у шахту на базі Козельськ у Калузькій області на південний захід від Москви.
Про це пише Reuters з посиланням на міністерство оборони РФ.
23-метрова ракета РС-24 призначена для перенесення кількох самостійних систем повторного входу (MIRVs), які дозволяють ракеті завдавати ударів кількома ядерними боєголовками по різних цілях.

Міністерство оборони оприлюднило ролик, на якому гігантську ракету транспортують до бункера та завантажують у шахту. Росія має найбільший у світі арсенал ядерної зброї, на другому місті − Сполучені Штати. Разом Росія та США контролюють понад 90% ядерної зброї у світі.
За даними Федерації американських вчених, Росія має близько 5889 ядерних боєголовок, тоді як Сполучені Штати − близько 5244. З них Москва та Вашингтон мають близько 1670 розгорнутих стратегічних ядерних боєголовок.
- Головне управління розвідки Міноборони повідомило, що 1 листопада Росія провела випробування ракети РС-24 "Ярс", яка є основною у наземному компоненті стратегічних ядерних сил РФ. А 25 жовтня завершився випробувальний запуск з підводного ракетного крейсера "Борей" балістичної ракети РСМ-56 "Булава". Обидва випробування завершилися для РФ невдачею.
